Real duo sign new contracts

Ramos and Pepe commit long-term futures to club

Ramos: Real defender has signed long-term contract extension with Spanish giants

Ramos and Pepe are integral members of manager Jose Mourinho's first XI and are now tied to the Santiago Bernabeu side for the foreseeable future.
Spain defender Ramos will remain with Los Blancos until 2017, having joined the club from Sevilla back in 2005.
And Brazil international Pepe, who can operate in central defence or a midfield holding role, has reached an agreement which will see him remain with Real until 2016.
Discussions over improved terms with both players have been ongoing for some time and the Liga side confirmed the extensions on Tuesday afternoon.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Sergio Ramos and Pepe have renewed their contracts with Real Madrid and are now tied to the club until 2017 and 2016, respectively."
News of Pepe's new deal will come as a disappointment to Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas, who had been linked with a move for the former Porto player.
